AMR’s goal is to prevent the need for emergency care through our comprehensive community education program.

If you would like AMR to provide a customized health or safety educational presentation to your school, organization, office or facility, please contact AMR San Diego’s Operations Manager, Travis Kusman by email operations@amr-sandiego.com or phone (858) 492-3528.

AMR supplied almost 1,000 hours of education and training in 2007.

AMR Paramedic Ennis Jackson impacts hundreds of San Diego youth each year with his dramatic, informative and interactive presentation about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. His visits to high schools yield tremendously positive reactions from students and teachers.

Safety lessons and ambulance orientations help elementary school students feel comfortable should they ever require emergency medical attention.

AMR’s comprehensive public service announcement (PSA) campaign reaches millions of San Diegans annually through televised educational messages about topics including fall prevention, car safety, and the warning signs of heart attacks.

AMR proudly partners with local organizations in support of their efforts and events. Our recent community partners include:
  - Earl Warren Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association
- Boys and Girls Club of Chula Vista
- YMCA Camp Surf
- Burn Institute
- San Miguel Firefighters Association
- Kiwanis Club of Bonita
- National Alliance on Mental Illness

“...every student was moved in some way. For some of them, it was a wakeup call that taught about the value of life, for others, they may have gained a little more appreciation for their parents and for others. The presentation may be enough for them to make a good decision in the future when they are faced with the situation of drinking and driving. In whatever way each student was impacted, there was no doubt the impact was positive.”
