Employee Recognition:
AMR San Diego’s exceptional employees have been recognized for their excellence
by outside individuals and organizations. - Critical Care Transport Nurse Liz Salerno was named a 2007 Star of Life by the American Ambulance Association, the highest honor an emergency medical services (EMS) professional can receive. She traveled to Washington, DC in May to be honored along with approximately 100 other individuals. See photos of Liz soon.
- AMR Paramedic Dannie Myers, San Miguel Fire Captain James Marugg and Bonita-Sunnyside Firefighter Cory Brown represented the Regional Cooperative Care Program and won the Gold
Medal at the National EMS Games sponsored by JEMS Magazine. The team was then honored by the California State Senate in Sacramento for their tremendous performance. See photos of Dannie and the RCCP team soon.

for the San Diego Business Journal’s Health Care Heroes Awards.
